Toronto Raptors Player Ruled Out Due To Personal Reasons Against Pistons

The Toronto Raptors will be without one of their best players for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Toronto Raptors will be in Michigan to face off against the Detroit Pistons. 

For the game, the Raptors will be without one of their best players, as RJ Barrett has been ruled out due to personal reasons.  

Via Josh Lewenberg of TSN on Tuesday: "RJ Barrett will miss tomorrow’s game in Detroit for personal reasons. Quickley and Trent are questionable."

Barrett is averaging 19.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest while shooting 48.9% from the field and 36.9% from the three-point range in 53 games. 

The Raptors are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-42 record in 65 games. 

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a four-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Raptors lost to the Denver Nuggets by a score of 125-119. 

In 38 minutes of playing time, Barrett had 26 points, seven rebounds and nine assists while shooting 10/20 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range. 

Following the Pistons, the Raptors will play their next game on Friday evening when they host the Orlando Magic in Canada. 

As for the Pistons, they are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with an 11-53 record in 64 games. 

They have gone 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Charlotte Hornets by a score of 114-97. 

Following the Raptors, the Pistons will play their next game on Friday evening when they host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.
