Adebayo is coming off another fantastic regular season where he averaged 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 54.0% from the field.

He is in his sixth season in the NBA (all with the Heat) and is the team's best defender.

The Heat are now in the Finals for the second time in the previous four seasons.

They made a remarkable run through Eastern Conference and are only the second team in the history of the NBA to be an eighth seed that reaches the Finals.

Through the first three rounds of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, the Heat beat the Milwaukee Bucks (first seed), New York Knicks (fifth seed) and Boston Celtics (second seed).

Meanwhile, the Nuggets are the first seed in the Western Conference, so if the Heat are able to win the title, they will have pulled off one of the most spectacular postseasons in NBA History.

Following Game 1, the two teams will face off on Sunday in Colorado before going to Miami for Games 3 and 4.

Through the first three rounds (in the west), the Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves (eighth seed), Phoenix Suns (fourth seed) and Los Angeles Lakers (seventh seed).
