BREAKING: Jamal Murray's Injury Status In Nuggets-Bucks Game

On Monday evening, the Denver Nuggets are playing Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.  

During the game, starting point guard Jamal Murray got injured, and he is questionable to return.  

The 2023 NBA Champion has three points and two rebounds while shooting 1/5 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range in 18 minutes of playing time. 

Via Katy Winge of AltitudeTV: "No Jamal Murray (bilateral tibia inflammation) or Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (right hamstring tightness) for the Nuggets to start the second half. Both are questionable to return."

Murray came into the evening with averages of 20.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.6 assists per contest while shooting 47.0% from the field and 41.2% from the three-point range in 39 games.  

The Nuggets are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 36-17 record in 53 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Sacramento Kings by a score of 135-106. 

In 26 minutes of playing time, Murray had 12 points, one rebound, three assists and one steal while shooting 4/10 from the field and 2/5 from the three-point range. 

Following Milwaukee, the Nuggets will return home to host the Kings on Wednesday evening. 

As for the Bucks, they are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 34-19 record in 53 games.   

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and are coming off a 120-84 victory over Brandon Miller and the Charlotte Hornets.  

Following the Nuggets, the Bucks will host the Miami Heat on Tuesday evening.
