Victor Wembanyama's Status For Warriors-Spurs Game

Victor Wembanyama is not on the injury report for Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the San Antonio Spurs will host the Golden State Warriors in Texas.  

For the game, the Spurs will have their best player back in the starting lineup, as Victor Wembanyama is not on the injury report.  

The star rookie had missed the previous two games. 

Wembanyama is having an excellent rookie year and is averaging 20.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.4 blocks per contest while shooting 46.9% from the field and 33.5% from the three-point range in 56 games.

Despite his success, the Spurs still remain in rebuilding mode and are among the worst teams in the league. 

They are the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 14-50 record in 64 games. 

Over the last ten games, the Spurs have gone 3-7, and they most recently beat the Warriors (in San Francisco) by a score of 126-113.  

Keldon Johnson led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds. 

Following their matchup with the Warriors, the Spurs will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets. 

At home, they are 7-21 in 28 games. 

As for the Warriors, they are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 33-30 record in 63 games. 

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Following the Spurs, the Warriors will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Dallas Mavericks in Texas.
