UPDATE: De'Aaron Fox participated in shootaround (h/t Sean Cunningham of FOX40 News).

On Monday evening, the Sacramento Kings will host the Chicago Bulls in California.

For the game, the Kings could be without one of their best players, as starting point guard De'Aaron Fox is on the injury report.

The former Kentucky star has missed each of the previous two games, so this would be his third straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Via Underdog NBA: "De'Aaron Fox (knee) questionable for Monday."

Fox is in the middle of another very productive season with averages of 26.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 36.9% from the three-point range in 51 games.

The Kings are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 34-25 record in 59 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 124-120 (in overtime).

Following their matchup with the Bulls, the Kings will travel to Los Angeles to face off against LeBron James and the Lakers.

As for the Bulls, they are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-32 record in 60 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 113-97.

Following the Kings, the Bulls will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.
