UPDATE: Jaylen Brown's Current Injury Status For Celtics-Nuggets Game

Jaylen Brown is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Boston Celtics will face off against the Denver Nuggets in Colorado. 

For the game, the Celtics could be without one of their best players, as All-Star forward Jaylen Brown is on the injury report.  

Via Brian Robb of MassLive: "Jaylen Brown said at shootaround he isn't sure about the origin of his back injury that has him questionable for tonight's game. He says he will see how it feels pregame before making a decision on playing."

Brown is having another extremely productive season with averages of 22.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 35.4% from the three-point range in 56 games.  

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference (and the best team in the NBA) with a 48-13 record in 61 games. 

They have gone 9-1 over their last ten games but most recently lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 105-104. 

In 37 minutes of playing time, Brown had 21 points, three rebounds and four assists while shooting 8/20 from the field and 3/7 from the three-point range. 

Following the Nuggets, the Celtics will visit Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on Saturday evening in Arizona. 

As for the Nuggets, they are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 42-20 record in 62 games. 

Following their matchup with the Celtics, they will remain at home to host Jordan Clarkson and the Utah Jazz on Saturday evening in Colorado.
