UPDATE: Deandre Ayton's Injury Status For Thunder-Trail Blazers Game

Deandre Ayton is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Deandre Ayton has been ruled out. 

On Wednesday evening, the Portland Trail Blazers will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oregon.  

For the game, the Trail Blazers will likely be without one of their best players, as starting center Deandre Ayton is on the injury report.  

The former Arizona star has missed each of the previous three games, so this would be his fourth straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Ayton is in his first season playing for the Trail Blazers after spending the first five years of his career with the Phoenix Suns.  

He is currently averaging 14.3 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 57.0% from the field in 40 games. 

The Trail Blazers have had a tough season and are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 17-43 record in 60 games. 

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 119-114. 

Following the Thunder, the Trail Blazers will play their next game on Friday evening when they host Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets in Oregon. 

As for the Thunder, they are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 42-19 record in 61 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 116-104. 

Following the Trail Blazers, the Thunder will host the Miami Heat on Friday evening.
