UPDATE: Donovan Mitchell's Current Status For Cavs-Wizards Game

Donovan Mitchell is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be in Washington, D.C., to face off against the Washington Wizards.

For the game, the Cavs will likely have their best player back in the starting lineup, as All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell is listed as probable. 

Mitchell has missed each of the previous two games.

Mitchell is having another impressive season with averages of 28.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 47.3% from the field and 36.1% from the three-point range in 44 games. 

The Cavs are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-19 record in 55 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak but are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Cavs lost to the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 104-97. 

Following the Wizards, they will return home to host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday in Ohio. 

As for the Wizards, they are having a tough season and are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-47 record in 56 games. 

They are in the middle of a ten-game losing streak and most recently lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 147-106. 

Following the Cavs, the Wizards remain at home to host Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday evening. 

At home, they are 3-23 in 26 games, while the Cavs are 17-9 in 26 games on the road.
