FINAL UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo's Official Injury Status For Bucks-Heat Game 3

Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the injury report for Game 3.

FINAL UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out.

On Saturday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks will be in Florida to face off with the Miami Heat for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.

The two teams are tied up at 1-1 after they split Games 1 and 2 in Wisconsin.

So far, the Bucks have had to play most of the series without their best player Giannis Antetokounmpo who injured his back in Game 1.

For Game 3, the two-time MVP has officially been listed as questionable on the injury report.

Underdog NBA: "Giannis Antetokounmpo (back) questionable for Saturday."

Antetokounmpo had another unbelievable regular season with averages of 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per contest while shooting 55.3% from the field.

The Bucks lost Game 1, but were able to blow out the Heat in Game 2 by a score of 138-122.

Seven players on the team scored in double-digits, and Brook Lopez led the way with 25 points.

The status of Antetokounmpo will have significant implications on the series and the entire Eastern Conference.

This season, the Bucks were the best team in the league and had a 58-24 record.

In 2021, they won the NBA Championship and last season they lost in the second round.

As for the Heat, they are the eighth seed and had a 44-38 record, but they have been to the Eastern Conference Finals in two out of the last three seasons.

Whoever wins the series will face off with either the New York Knicks or Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round.
