UPDATE: Jaylen Brown's Current Injury Status For Nets-Celtics Game

Jaylen Brown is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Jaylen Brown has been ruled out.   

On Wednesday evening, the Boston Celtics will host the Brooklyn Nets in Massachusetts.  

For the game, the Celtics could be without one of their best players, as All-Star forward Jaylen Brown is on the injury report.

Brown has played in 50 games and is averaging 22.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 49.2% from the field and 34.2% from the three-point range. 

The Celtics are the best team in the NBA (and first seed in the Eastern Conference) with a 42-12 record in 54 games. 

They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games. 

At home, the Celtics are 25-3 in 28 games. 

Most recently, the Celtics beat the Nets (in Brooklyn) on Tuesday by a score of 118-110.

In 37 minutes of playing time, Brown had 19 points, one rebound, four assists and one steal while shooting 7/19 from the field and 1/6 from the three-point range. 

Following the Nets, the Celtics will play their next game on February 22 when they visit the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. 

As for the Nets, they are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 21-32 record in 53 games.  

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and 8-15 in 23 games on the road. 

Following the Celtics, the Nets will play their next game on February 22 when they visit Immanuel Quickley and the Toronto Raptors in Canada.
