UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis' Current Injury Status For Celtics-Cavs Game

Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis is available.

On Tuesday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in Ohio for a showdown with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

For the game, the Celtics could remain without one of their best players, as 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report.

Porzingis missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Porzingis is in his first season with Boston and has been an excellent addition to the team.

He is currently averaging 20.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 52.6% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range in 44 games.

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference (and the best team in the NBA) with an impressive 48-12 record in 60 games.

They are in the middle of an 11-game winning streak and most recently beat Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors by a score of 140-88.

Following the Cavs, the Celtics will remain on the road and visit the Denver Nuggets on Thursday evening in Colorado.

Meanwhile, the Cavs are also having an excellent season and are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 39-21 record in 60 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the New York Knicks by a score of 107-98.

Following the Celtics, the Cavs will visit the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday evening.
