UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis' Current Injury Status For Warriors-Celtics Game

Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out.  

On Sunday afternoon, the Boston Celtics will host Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors in Massachusetts.

For the game, the Celtics could be without one of their best players, as 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report.

Porzingis is having a very productive season and is averaging 20.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 52.6% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range in 44 games. 

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 47-12 record in 59 games. 

They are also in the middle of a ten-game winning streak and most recently beat Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 138-110.

In 29 minutes of playing time, Porzingis had 24 points, six rebounds, two assists and one block while shooting 8/14 from the field and 4/8 from the three-point range. 

Following the Warriors, the Celtics will travel to Ohio for a matchup with Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday evening. 

As for the Warriors, they are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 32-27 record in 59 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and have gone 8-2 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Warriors beat the Toronto Raptors by a score of 120-105. 

Following the Celtics, they will return home to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday evening at the Chase Center.
