UPDATE: Kyle Kuzma's Current Status For Wizards-Pelicans Game

Kyle Kuzma is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Kyle Kuzma has been ruled out. 

On Wednesday evening, the Washington Wizards will be in New Orleans to face off against Brandon Ingram and the Pelicans.  

For the game, the Wizards could be without one of their best players, as 2020 NBA Champion Kyle Kuzma is on the injury report. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Kyle Kuzma (illness) now questionable Wednesday."

Kuzma has played in 52 games and is averaging 21.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 45.6% from the field and 32.9% from the three-point range.  

The Wizards are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-44 record in 53 games. 

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a seven-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Wizards lost to the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 112-104. 

In 32 minutes of playing time, Kuzma had 23 points, eight rebounds and one steal while shooting 9/19 from the field and 1/7 from the three-point range. 

Following the Pelicans, the Wizards will play their next game on February 22 when they visit the Denver Nuggets in Colorado. 

As for the Pelicans, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 32-22 record in 54 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Pelicans beat the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 96-87. 

Following the Wizards, they will play their next game on February 22, when they host the Houston Rockets.
