UPDATE: Luka Doncic's Current Injury Status For Mavs-Nets Game

Luka Doncic is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will be in New York to face off against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center. 

For the game, the Mavs could be without their best player, as five-time NBA All-Star Luka Doncic is on the injury report.

Doncic has played in 42 games and is averaging 34.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 9.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.8% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range.   

The Mavs are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 27-23 record in 50 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 118-102 (on the road).

In 36 minutes of playing time, Doncic had 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists and one steal while shooting 6/15 from the field and 4/10 from the three-point range. 

Following the Nets, the Mavs will remain in New York City to face off against Jalen Brunson and the Knicks on Thursday evening at Madison Square Garden. 

As for the Nets, they are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 20-29 record in their first 49 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors (at home) by a score of 109-98.

Following the Mavs, the Nets will remain at home to host Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday evening at Barclays Center.
