Luka Doncic's Injury Status For Mavs-Clippers Game

Luka Doncic has officially been ruled out for Wednesday’s game.

On Wednesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will be in California to face off with the Los Angeles Clippers.

However, they will be without their best player for the game, as Luka Doncic remains ruled out with a heel injury.

The four-time NBA All-Star has missed the last two games, so this will be his third straight out of the lineup.

He got injured in last Thursday's 111-106 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Even though the former third-overall pick only played 21 minutes in the game, he still put up a remarkable 31 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals.

On the season, Doncic has been tremendous and could end up as a 2023 MVP finalist.

He is averaging 33.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 8.2 assists and 1.5 steals per contest in 47 games (while shooting 50.4% from the field).

The Mavs come into the night with a 29-26 record in 55 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 10-17 in the 27 games they have played on the road away from Texas.

As for the Clippers, they are the fourth seed in the west with a 31-26 record in 57 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 8-2 in their last ten games.

At home, the Clippers have been solid, going 14-11 in the 25 games they have hosted in Los Angeles, California.
