FINAL UPDATE: Nikola Jokic's Current Injury Status For Timberwolves-Nuggets Game

Nikola Jokic is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

FINAL UPDATE: Nikola Jokic is available.

On Wednesday evening, the Denver Nuggets are hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves in Colorado for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, they could be without their best player, as All-Star center Nikola Jokic is listed as questionable on the injury report (wrist).

Underdog NBA: "Nikola Jokic (wrist) listed questionable for Wednesday."

The two-time MVP had another stellar season with averages of 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest in 69 games.

He also shot a tremendous 63.2% from the field and 38.3% from the three-point range.

In Game 1, Jokic put up 13 points, 14 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 28 minutes of playing time.

The Nuggets won 109-80, so they have a chance to take a commanding 2-0 lead before heading on the road for Games 3 and 4 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Last year, the Nuggets dealt with injuries and lost in the first round to the Golden State Warriors in just five games.

However, they have one of the most talented rosters in the league and will have a chance to make a deep run.

They are the first seed in the Western Conference and went 53-29 during the regular season.

As for the Timberwolves, they made the NBA Playoffs (last year) for the first time since 2018, so they are now in the playoffs for two consecutive seasons.

That said, they are the eighth seed and had an underwhelming year finishing with a 42-40 record.
