Paul George's Official Injury Status For Lakers-Clippers Game

Paul George has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers will host the Los Angeles Lakers in California. 

For the game, the Clippers will be without one of their best players, as star forward Paul George has been ruled out.  

George also missed the team's last game, so this will be his second straight out of the lineup.  

Via ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk on Tuesday: "Ty Lue says Paul George (knee) will not practice and will not play tomorrow against the Lakers."

George is in the middle of another impressive season with averages of 22.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 45.6% from the field and 39.5% from the three-point range in 52 games. 

The Clippers are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-19 record in 56 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to De'Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings by a score of 123-107. 

Following the Lakers, the Clippers will remain at home to host Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards on Friday evening in Los Angeles. 

At home, they are 20-7 in 27 games.

As for the Lakers, they are the tenth seed in the Western Confernece with a 31-28 record in 59 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games but most recently lost to Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns by a score of 123-113. 

Following the Clippers, the Lakers will remain in Los Angeles and host the Washington Wizards on Thursday evening.
