UPDATE: Rudy Gobert's Current Injury Status For Grizzlies-Timberwolves Game

Rudy Gobert is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Target Center.  

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without one of their best players, as starting center Rudy Gobert is on the injury report.

Gobert is averaging 13.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.1 blocks per contest while shooting 64.5% from the field in 56 games.

The Timberwolves are having an excellent season and are tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the first seed in the Western Conference with a 41-17 record in 58 games.  

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and have gone 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Timberwolves beat Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 114-105. 

In 39 minutes of playing time, Gobert had 13 points, 17 rebounds, three assists and four blocks while shooting 6/12 from the field and 0/1 from the three-point range. 

Following the Grizzlies, the Timberwolves will remain at home to host the Sacramento Kings on Friday evening at the Target Center. 

As for the Grizzlies, they have had a tough season and are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 20-38 record in 58 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 2-8 over their last ten games. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Grizzlies will return home to host Jerami Grant and the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday evening in Tennessee.
