UPDATE: Rudy Gobert's Current Injury Status For Nets-Timberwolves Game

Rudy Gobert is on the injury report for Saturday game.

UPDATE: Rudy Gobert has been ruled out (h/t Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic).     

On Saturday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Brooklyn Nets at the Target Center.    

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without one of their best players, as Rudy Gobert is on the injury report.    

Via Underdog NBA: "Rudy Gobert (ankle) questionable Saturday."

Gobert has played in 55 games and is averaging 13.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.1 blocks per contest while shooting 64.9% from the field.  

The Timberwolves are in the middle of an excellent season and are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 39-17 record in 56 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games but are coming off a 112-107 loss to Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday evening (at home). 

Gobert had 12 points, 19 rebounds, one assist and two blocks while shooting 6/8 from the field in 38 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Nets, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host the San Antonio Spurs. 

At home, they are 19-6 in the 25 games they have played at the Target Center. 

As for the Nets, they are having a tough season and are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 21-34 record in 55 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game losing streak. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Nets will remain on the road and travel to Tennessee for a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday evening.
