UPDATE: Rudy Gobert's Injury Status For Timberwolves-Nuggets Game
UPDATE: Rudy Gobert is available.
On Sunday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Colorado to face off with the Denver Nuggets for Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.
For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Rudy Gobert is on the injury report listed as questionable.
Underdog NBA: "Rudy Gobert (back) questionable for Sunday."
The three-time NBA All-Star is in his first season playing for the Timberwolves and averaged a solid 13.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.4 blocks per contest in 70 games.
Despite his strong play, the Timberwolves had a disappointing season going just 42-40.
They are the eighth seed in the Western Conference and beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in the play-in tournament (they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first game).
On the road, the Timberwolves have gone 20-22 in 42 games (counting Tuesday's loss to the Lakers).
Last year, they went 46-36 during the regular season and lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs in six games.
Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards make up one of the best trios in the Western Conference.
Therefore, they will have a chance to give the Nuggets, who are the first seed, a challenge.
The Nuggets went 53-29 during the regular season and are a sensational 34-7 in the 41 games they have hosted on their home floor in Denver.
They are coming off a season where they lost to the Golden State Warriors in the first round in five games.
