UPDATE: Jaylen Nowell and Rudy Gobert are both available.

On Sunday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets will face off in Colorado for Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 7:30 Eastern Time).

The Timberwolves have ruled out Jaden McDaniels and Naz Reid, while Jaylen Nowell and three-time NBA All-Star Rudy Gobert are both listed as questionable.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets have no one on their injury report, so they come into the NBA Playoffs fully healthy.

The Timberwolves finished the regular season with a 42-40 record, which had them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

They lost their first play-in tournament game to the Los Angeles Lakers but were able to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder to clinch the eighth seed.

Despite their mediocre season, the Timberwolves have one of the most talented rosters in the league.

Last year, they made the playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season (they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in six games).

As for the Nuggets, they finished the regular season as the best team in the Western Conference with a 53-29 record.

They are coming off a year where they dealt with injuries and lost to the Golden State Warriors in the first round in five games.

That said, they will have a chance to make a deep run now that they are fully healthy.

At home, the Nuggets have a fantastic 34-7 record in the 41 games they have hosted in Denver, Colorado.
