UPDATE: Zion Williamson's Current Injury Status For Pelicans-Trail Blazers Game

Zion Williamson is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

UPDATE: Zion Williamson has been ruled out.

On Saturday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans will be in Oregon to face off against the Portland Trail Blazers.    

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as 2021 NBA All-Star Zion Williamson is on the injury report. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Zion Williamson (foot) listed questionable Saturday."

Williamson has averages of 22.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 58.7% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range in 42 games. 

The Pelicans are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 30-22 record in 52 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are coming off a 139-122 loss to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers (in California). 

In 32 minutes of playing time, Williamson had 30 points, nine rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block while shooting 12/19 from the field.  

Following the Trail Blazers, the Pelicans will travel to Tennessee for a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday evening. 

On the road, the Pelicans are 15-12 in 27 games. 

As for the Trail Blazers, they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 15-36 record in 51 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Trail Blazers lost to Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons (in overtime) by a score of 128-122. 

Following New Orleans, they will remain in Oregon to host Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday evening.
