Anthony Edwards' Game-Winning Block Went Viral In Timberwolves-Pacers Game

Anthony Edwards had a huge block at the end of Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves faced off against the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.   

The game was extremely close, but the Timberwolves were able to come away with a 113-111 victory.   

With less than two seconds left, Anthony Edwards had an enormous block that sealed the game. 

The All-Star guard's huge highlight got a lot of views on social media. 

The former UGA star finished his night with 44 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting 18/35 from the field and 3/7 from the three-point range in 39 minutes of playing time. 

Edwards is in the middle of an incredible season with averages of 26.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.7% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range in 60 games.

With the victory, the Timberwolves improved to 44-19 in 63 games, which has them as the first seed in the Western Conference. 

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Following the Pacers, the Timberwolves will remain on the road and visit Jarrett Allen and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday evening in Ohio. 

As for the Pacers, they dropped to 35-29 in 64 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and will now travel to Florida for a matchup with Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic on Sunday evening.
