BREAKING: Steph Curry Made NBA History In Nuggets-Warriors Game

Steph Curry made NBA history during Sunday's game.

UPDATE: The Golden State Warriors lost by a score of 119-103, and Steph Curry finished the game with 20 points, one rebound and four assists.    

UPDATE: Steph Curry also moved ahead of Hall of Famer Adrian Dantley (23,177) for 31st on the all-time scoring list.  

On Sunday evening, the Golden State Warriors are hosting the Denver Nuggets at the Chase Center in San Francisco.   

During the game, two-time MVP Steph Curry made exciting NBA history by moving ahead of Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade (23,165) for 32nd on the all-time scoring list

Following Wade, the next player for Curry to pass will be Hall of Famer Adrian Dantley (23,177).  

Curry came into the evening with sensational averages of 27.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field and 41.9% from the three-point range in 52 games. 

He is also playing in his 935th career game, which ties two-time NBA Champion Mychal Thompson for 218th on the all-time regular season games played list

Following Thompson, the next players for Curry to pass will be Lindsey Hunter (937) and Derrick McKey (937). 

The Warriors got off to a slow start to the season but are playing much better as of late and are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 29-26 record in 55 games.  

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games. 

Following the Nuggets, the Warriors will travel to Washington, D.C., to face off against Jordan Poole and the Wizards on Tuesday evening.
