Brooklyn Nets Make Roster Move Before Pacers Game

The Brooklyn Nets made a roster move before Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Brooklyn Nets will face off against the Pacers in Indiana.

Before the game, the Nets announced that they had made a roster move by recalling Noah Clowney from the Long Island Nets (G League).

Via The Long Island Nets: "The Brooklyn Nets have recalled Noah Clowney from the Long Island Nets."

Clowney was the 21st pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Alabama and has played in nine games for Brooklyn. 

He is averaging 3.2 points and 1.7 rebounds per contest while shooting 61.1% from the field and 25.0% from the three-point range.  

The 19-year-old has spent a lot of time with the Long Island Nets and is averaging 17.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 49.5% from the field and 32.7% from the three-point range in 18 regular season games. 

He also appeared in 15 Showcase Cup Games.  

As for the Nets, they are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 26-40 record in 66 games. 

They are 3.0 games behind the Atlanta Hawks for the final play-in tournament spot. 

The Nets have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Orlando Magic (in Florida) by a score of 114-106. 

Following their matchup with the Pacers, they will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit the San Antonio Spurs in Texas. 

On the road, the Nets are 10-22 in the 32 games they have played away from Barclays Center.
