Cade Cunningham Throws Down Poster Dunk In Pistons-Heat Game

Cade Cunningham had a huge dunk during Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Detroit Pistons are playing the Miami Heat in Florida.

During the game, former Oklahoma State star Cade Cunningham had a huge dunk that got a lot of attention on social media.

Cunningham drove to the basket and threw down a one-handed dunk as Nikola Jovic attempted to defend the rim.

The Pistons have had a disappointing season, but Cunningham has played well and came into the evening with averages of 22.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.4 assists per contest while shooting 45.3% from the field and 35.6% from the three-point range in 50 games.

Right now, the Pistons are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-51 record in 60 games.

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Most recently, the Pistons lost to the Orlando Magic by a score of 113-91.

Cunningham had nine points, two rebounds, seven assists and one steal while shooting 4/12 from the field and 1/4 from the three-point range in 23 minutes of playing time.

Following the Heat, the Pistons will play their next game on Thursday evening when they return home to host Mikal Bridges and the Brooklyn Nets in Michigan.

Cunningham was the first pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and is in his third season in the league (all with Detroit).

His career averages are 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 43.2% from the field and 32.7% from the three-point range in 126 games.
