Chris Pauls Reacts To Getting Ejected From Warriors-Suns Game

Chris Paul spoke to the media after Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors were in Arizona facing off against the Phoenix Suns.

They trailed for most of the night, and despite getting the game close in the final seconds, they lost by a score of 123-115.

During the first half, Chris Paul got ejected after receiving two technical fouls from referee Scott Foster.

There is a lot of history between the two, and after the game, Paul spoke to the media about his ejection (h/t Warriors on NBCS).

Paul: "It's personal. We had a situation some years ago, and it's personal. The league know, everybody know, there's been a meeting and all that. It's just the situation with my son. I'm okay with a ref saying whatever. Just don't use a tech to get your point across. I've gotta do a better job making sure I stay on the floor for my teammates, but that's that."

Paul did not reveal what he meant about the situation with his son.

Paul finished his night with six points, two rebounds and six assists while shooting 1/2 from the field in 17 minutes of playing time.

The Warriors dropped to 7-9 in their first 16 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

They are 2-8 in the last ten games and 5-3 in the eight games they have played on the road.

On Friday, the Warriors will play their next game when they host the San Antonio Spurs at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
