Damian Lillard's Instagram Post After Bucks-Pistons Game
On Saturday afternoon, the Milwaukee Bucks faced off against the Pistons in Detroit.
The game was close, but the Bucks were able to win by a score of 141-135.
All-Star point guard Damian Lillard led the way with 45 points, six rebounds, 11 assists and one steal while shooting 12/22 from the field and 5/11 from the three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time.
After the game, Lillard made a post to Instagram.
Lillard captioned his post: "Check the DNA is paper in my Genes… if it ain’t in my genes then it’s in my jeans!
Happy 15th bday my nephew @huey_x2"
Lillard is now averaging 25.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 43.1% from the field and 35.5% from the three-point range in 39 games.
With the victory, the Bucks improved to 29-13 in their first 42 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games and 10-9 in the 19 games they have played on the road away from Milwaukee.
Following Saturday's game, the two teams will face off (again) on Monday evening in Detroit.
As for the Pistons, they dropped to 4-38 in their first 42 games, which has them as the 15th seed (last place) in the Eastern Confernece.
They are 1-9 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
At home, the Pistons are 2-19 in 21 games hosted in Detroit.
