Draymond Green's Bold Statement About Klay Thompson After Warriors-Jazz Game

Draymond Green met with the media after Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Utah Jazz by a score of 129-107 (in Salt Lake City).

Klay Thompson led the team with 26 points, six rebounds and two assists while shooting 11/19 from the field and 3/7 from the three-point range in 30 minutes of playing time.

The five-time NBA All-Star has had an up-and-down season, but this was one of his best games.

After the victory, Draymond Green made a bold statement about his longtime teammate (h/t Warriors on NBCS).

Green: "That's my brother. You never want to see anyone struggle. You never want to see anyone get crushed by the media, crushed by the public. That's a tough thing to deal with. He's resilient, always has been, so I don't worry about Klay because he's tough. He's tough as nails."

Thompson is now averaging 17.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 41.8% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range in 48 games.

With the victory, the Warriors improved to 26-25 in 51 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games.

Following the Jazz, the Warriors will return home to host Russell Westbrook and the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday evening at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

As for the Jazz, they dropped to 26-28 in 54 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.
