On Saturday evening, the New York Knicks hosted the Toronto Raptors at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.  

The Knicks won by a score of 126-100, and Jalen Brunson led the way with 38 points, five rebounds and nine assists.   

All-Star forward Julius Randle had a fantastic night with 18 points, 16 rebounds and ten assists while shooting 7/13 from the field and 3/7 from the three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time. 

He also made team history. 

Via New York Knicks PR: "Julius Randle recorded his 14th career triple-double, his eighth with the Knicks. He now sits alone with the fourth most in franchise history."

Randle is now averaging 24.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest while shooting 47.2% from the field and 30.0% from the three-point range in 43 games. 

With the victory, the Knicks improved to 26-17 in their first 43 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games. 

At home, the Knicks are 13-5 in the 18 games they have hosted at Madison Square Garden.  

Following the Raptors, they will play the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center on Tuesday evening. 

Randle was the seventh pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Kentucky and is in his tenth season in the league.  

In addition to the Knicks, the 29-year-old has also spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans.
