Kevin Durant's Quote About Draymond Green Is Going Viral

Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns) was asked about Draymond Green's (Golden State Warriors) ejection/suspension.

On Tuesday evening, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Golden State Warriors (in Arizona) by a score of 119-116.

During the game, Draymond Green was ejected after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul.

The Warriors were inbounding the ball, and Green was fighting for position with Jusuf Nurkic.

When he swung his arm back, he hit Nurkic in the face.

The NBA announced (on Wednesday) that Green has been suspended indefinitely.

Via NBA Communications: "Green's suspension will begin immediately. He will be required to meet certain league and team conditions before he returns to play."

The Suns lost to the Brooklyn Nets (at home) by a score of 116-112 on Wednesday evening.

Kevin Durant, who was teammates with Draymond Green for three seasons, was asked about the ejection and suspension (h/t Duane Rankin of azcentral).

Durant: "Yeah, that was insane to see. Glad Nurk is alright. Never seen that before on a basketball court, in an NBA game. I hope Draymond gets the help he needs. It's been incident after incident. I know Draymond; he hasn't been that way when I was around him and coming into the league. Hopefully, he gets the help he needs and get back on the court and put all this stuff behind him."

Durant finished Wednesday's loss with 27 points, six rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 9/18 from the field and 1/5 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time.

The Suns (13-11) will play their next game on Friday when they host the New York Knicks.
