LeBron James' Status For Bucks-Lakers Game

LeBron James has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Milwaukee Bucks in California.

They are 2-2 in their first four preseason games and are coming off a 129-125 loss to the Golden State Warriors (at home) on Friday.

For Sunday's matchup, the Lakers will be without their best player, as LeBron James has been ruled out.

Via ESPN's Dave McMenamin: "Darvin Ham says LeBron James, Austin Reaves, Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt and Jalen Hood-Schifino will all be held out against MIL today."

In Friday's loss to the Warriors, James played 18 minutes, and he had 12 points, two rebounds and five assists.

James is 38 but still remains among the best players in the NBA and is coming off a strong season where he averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 32.1% from the three-point range.

He is entering his 21st season in the NBA (sixth with the Lakers).

The Lakers will play their first regular season game of the year on October 24 when they visit Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.

They are coming off a season where they were the seventh seed in the Western Conference but made the Conference Finals.

Meanwhile, the Bucks will have both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard on the floor together for the first time (on Sunday).

The duo has the potential to be the best in the NBA, as Lillard is a seven-time All-Star and Antetokounmpo is a two-time MVP.
