Latest Report About Memphis Grizzlies' Ja Morant Is Intriguing

Claudia Jordan of The Breakfast Club had a fascinating report about Memphis Grizzlies' Ja Morant.

Memphis Grizzlies All-Star point guard Ja Morant is currently suspended by the team following a video that went viral on social media where he allegedly was holding a gun.

A similar incident happened during the regular season, and the former Murray State star was suspended for eight games.

Recently, Claudia Jordan (on The Breakfast Club) provided a fascinating report about the situation from what she's been hearing via her sources.

Jordan on The Breakfast Club"My sources say that the relative in the car in the backseat had a toy gun in the car. The gun is not real. And was playing around with it, passed it over to Ja and that got caught on the live."

Before Game 1 of the NBA Finals, commissioner Adam Silver addressed the media about the league's investigation.

Silver: "We've uncovered a fair amount of additional information, I think, since I was still asked about the situation. I would say we probably could have brought it to a head now, but we made the decision, and I believe the Player's Association agrees with us, that it would be unfair to these players and these teams in the middle of the series to announce the results of that investigation."

Morant is one of the best players in the league and led the Grizzlies to a 51-31 record, which got them the second seed in the Western Conference for the second consecutive year (they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round).

The 23-year-old finished the regular season with sensational averages of 26.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field.
