The bald face stallion, Spooks Gotta Gun, had no doubt left his mark in the reining history books.

The stallion was sired by Grays Starlight, whose offspring earnings exceed $10 million, out of the phenomenal mare, Katie Gun.

Spooks Gotta Gun went on to earn $81,000 in the reining pen, including Reining By The Bay Open Derby Champion with $8 million rider, Andrea Fappani.

This incredible stallion went on to retire to the stallion barn where he found even more success.

Spooks Gotta Gun sired over $2 million in National Reining Horse Association earnings, but over $3 million in total offspring earnings thus far.

His other champion offspring include over $110,000 in ranch horse, $100,000 in working cow horse and even $10,000 in the barrel pen.

This versatile sire proved he could sire champions across numerous events.

He was even the sire of a NRHA Triple Crown Champion.

The NRHA "Triple Crown" includes the NRHA futurity, the NRHA derby, and the National Reining Breeders Challenge.

His son, Spooks Gotta Whiz, won this prestigious title back in 2012 and then went on the become a $5 million sire himself.

Along with Spooks Gotta Whiz, who won $346,715, some other famous offspring of Spooks Gotta Gun is SpooksGottaChicOlena who won over $115,000 and Opps Its A Spook who won over $125,000.

"It is with great sadness and tears that I have to announce that our precious Spooks Gotta Gun passed away yesterday morning. He was so loved and cared for by everyone at Silver Spurs will not be the same without him," announced Silver Spurs Equine Owners, Micheal and Michelle Miola, on social media.

The reining world said goodbye to a legend but his legacy will live on through his phenomenal get and grand-get.
