Team Roping World Standings Leading into the Cinch Playoffs Governor's Cup

It's not every day there is $1 million dollars up for grabs in just a few rounds of rodeo, especially at the end of the regular season.
The Cinch Playoffs Governor's Cup is offering that purse this weekend in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This is an opportunity for team ropers close to the top 15 to move up in world standings, which would send them to the National Finals Rodeo held in Las Vegas.
In the heading, No. 17 in the world standings Coy Rahlmann currently has $87,352 in total earnings. Rahlmann only needs $2,401 to claim the fifteenth position. Other headers to watch are No. 18 Brenton Hall, who is $3,073 behind fifteenth, and No. 19 Clint Summers who is $8,735 behind.
Coming out of the heel box in 15th is Payden Bray with $88,551 this season. Bray received the invitation to the Governor's Cup hoping to keep his position, while Colbey Payne in 17th is just $2,888 behind him. The next heeler entered in Sioux Falls hoping to break the top-15 is Ross Ashford, sitting in the No. 23 spot. Ashford is $11,504 out of the cut off, though he could cause a wave in the standings this weekend.

Tim had already established TVR Working Horses but together they grew their program and enjoy raising foals, training colts, barrel racing, team roping and standing their stallions (TVR Eye Needa Corona and CR Baron Bee Joy "Big Sexy") in both Texas and Iowa. They stay busy with the horses, farming alfalfa and raising their baby girl, Texi. Madi has always been passionate about horses, from learning about different bloodlines, breeding the foals themselves to training and competing. She expresses that passion within the articles she writes to open up the world of horses and rodeo to everyone. Twitter-@Madi_Roelofsen Facebook- @TVR Working Horses
