Barrel Racing in the Badlands-Circuit Finals Champions

The circuit finals have been showcasing professional rodeo's best athletes all over the nation the past couple weeks. Barrel racers in North and South Dakota, making up the Badlands Circuit, clocked blazing fast times throughout all three performances of the Badlands Circuit finals.
17-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier, Lisa Lockhart, turned in a clean pattern and all three nights of the finals placing in the top four on each run. This put Lockhart in the money every performance and first in the average overall for a grand total of $7,518 at the finals.
Being the Badlands Circuit Finals Champion qualifies Lockhart for the NFR Open in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in July of 2024.
Lakken Bice was the only other barrel racer to land in the top four spots on the leaderboard every performance. Bice came in second in the average for reserve champion of the circuit finals, taking home a total of $5,291.
For the total season standings in the Badlands Circuit, six time NFR qualifier Jessica Routier finished out strong as year end champion.
