The final three rounds of full bracket competition came to a close on Wednesday evening at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. There were some high-money winners in this bracket who will be making big moves in the standings.

Bull Riding

Bull rider Jordan Hansen from Amisk, Alberta, Canada, ended his year in 2023 ranked No. 11. He hadn't entered a rodeo in 2024 until San Antonio and made the best of it.

Hansen was the high-money winner for the bracket, collecting $9,833 in total so far. He was the only rider to cover his bull for the full 8-seconds in the first round. The Cervi Brothers' Keep Talkin took Hansen for a ride worth $7,000 for his first winnings of the year. The Canadian earned 82.5 points on the ride.

In the final round, Hansen, once again, was the man of the hour, riding Pickett Pro Rodeo's Justified for 84 points. Because there were only three qualified rides, Hansen again deposited ground money along with his regular earnings. The third round paid $2,833 for first.

Hansen easily took the first-place finish in the bracket with his $9,833. The others joining him in the semifinals will be Parker Brewing, Stran Smith and Cody Teel.

Team Roping

Team Ropers Aaron Tsinigine and Ryan Motes dominated their bracket to earn $7,750. In round one, Tsinigine and Motes were 4.3 seconds, which was good enough for second.

In round two, the pair took the win with their 4.7-second run to deposit $2,500 each. Coming back strong in round three, they finished second with another 4.7-second run to earn second.

For the bracket as a whole, Tsinigine and Motes earned $3,750 more than the second-place finishers, J.C. Yeahquo and Buddy Hawkins. While both Tsinigine and Motes earned some paychecks in 2024, this was the biggest and boosted them in the never-ending chase for the top 15 in the world.

Barrel Racing

Barrel racer Wenda Johnson from Pawhuska, Okla., was nearly flawless. Currently sitting No. 7 in the World Standings, Johnson is trying to make the most of the winter run so she doesn't feel as much pressure in the summer run.

Johnson won the first and third rounds and earned a second-place finish in round two. With these runs, she earned twice as much as any other competitor in her bracket.

Johnson ran a 13.81 on her last trip down the alleyway, which is the second fastest time of the entire rodeo so far. Clocking at 13.83 in round one and 14.07 in round two, she was the most consistent and biggest money earner.

The $7,000 she earned will propel her in the World Standings and give her a good confidence boost going into the semifinal round of competition.

The semifinals start on Thursday evening with 10 contestants and then conclude on Friday evening with the additional 10, making a total of 20 chances. Five of the highest scores and fastest times from each semifinal round will advance to the finals.

The wildcard round will be held Saturday morning, allowing those who didn't earn advancement from the semifinals one more chance. Just one contestant from each event will move on from the wild card.

Stay tuned for coverage of all the action and a preview of the final contestants.
