The second semifinals brought outstanding competition with thrilling rides and fast times. This leaves just one position to fill in the finals. The first 10 cowboys and cowgirls have been determined by the semifinal rounds. The final competitor will be determined in the Saturday wildcard performance at 12 pm CST.

In the bareback riding, it was rookie Brayze Schill who took the round win with 86 points. After earning his way to the rodeo from the qualifier and then making the semifinals, Schill rode Fringe Jacket from J Bar J Rodeo. Joining him in the final round will be Clayton Biglow, Mason Clements, Bronc Marriott and Rocker Steiner.

Reigning World Champion Tyler Waguespack took the win in the steer wrestling with his strong man 3.6-second run. He will deposit the $5,000 check from the round and also make his appearance in the finals alongside Kyle Irwin, Will Lummus, Tim Kemp and Tristan Martin.

No strangers to the winner's circle, Dustin Egusquiza and Levi Lord split the win with Chad Masters and Wyatt Cox with a 3.6-second run. Both of these teams will be in the finals, along with teams Brady Tryan/Calgary Smith, Clint Summers/Jake Long, and Tyler Wade/Wesley Thorp.

The saddle bronc riders showed off and certainly showed up for the round. A member of the legendary Wright family took the win with Statler Wright scoring 86.5 points on Calgary Stampede's Debt So Long. This will be the first time Statler will be in the finals and he will be joined by Zeke Thurston, Mitch Pollock, Logan Hay and Ryder Sanford.

The ladies of the breakaway have been the stars of the show in San Antonio.  In the first semifinals, Shai Schaefer broke the arena record with her incredible 1.5-second run. Semifinals No. two was nearly as fast, with Taylor Munsell roping her calf in 1.6 seconds. She earned her $5,000 paycheck and a trip to the finals. She will rope alongside Sarah Angelone, Shelby Boisjoli-Meged, Nicole Baggerly, and Taylor Engesser.

Reigning World Champion Riley Webb backed into the box and did his job when he tied his calf in 7.5 seconds. Webb gave credit to his horse in the interview, but the young roper deserves some credit as well after earning $11,500 so far at San Antonio and a trip to the finals. He will be accompanied by Hunter Herrin, Riley Pruitt, Bryce Derrer and Beau Cooper.

Emily Beisel took advantage of being second out on the ground and guided her great horse through the pattern in a smoking 13.70 seconds. The $5,000 check helped earn her a berth in the finals along with Preslie Reid, Ashley Castleberry, Stevi Hillman, and Summer Kosel.

With a thrilling ride and a 90.5-point score, Jacauy Hale earned his $5,000 check for the round win. This was the first time Hale had been to San Antonio and also his first ride over 90 points. Hale will get another chance to show off his talent in the finals with Clayton Sellars, Gavin Hauck, Cole Teel and Jeter Lawrence.
