Cinch Timed Event Championships: The Ultimate Battle of Top Athletes

Top 25 PRCA timed-event cowboys will compete in all five timed events over five rounds at Lazy E Arena for a $200,000 purse, with the winner taking home $100,000.

The stage is set for the 2024 Cinch Timed Event Championship (CTEC) and Junior Ironman, promising three days of thrilling rodeo action as a newly expanded lineup of the top 25 PRCA cowboys showcase their skills in heading, tie-down roping, heeling, steer wrestling, and steer roping from Thursday, Feb. 29, through Saturday, March 2.

A mix of seasoned contenders along with a fresh wave of talent will vie for the coveted title at the Lazy E Arena. The event promises a total purse of $200,000, with the winner taking home a hefty $100,000 paycheck along with ultimate bragging rights.

The competition format now includes elimination rounds, with the bottom five contestants being cut after the first two rounds, while only the top 15 will advance to the Championship Round.

In addition to the main event, the 2024 CTEC will feature the Junior Ironman presented by WCRA, highlighting the prowess of rodeo's rising stars squaring off in a series of events, including heading, heeling, tie-down roping and steer wrestling.

The action-packed schedule kicks off each evening at 7:00 pm, with the Junior Ironman heating up the arena at 5:00 pm daily. Notably, entry for the Junior Ironman is included with the evening performance ticket, offering spectators even more value for their buck.
