$70,000 Lone Star Shootout Barrel Racing Futurity Kicks Off New Year

The J&J Productions' Lone Star Shootout kicks off the 2024 futurity season at the Circle T Arena in Hamilton, Texas. This futurity is made possible by its title sponsor, 70 Ranch Performance Horses, supporting the event for years.
CJ Lembke, the owner of 70 RPH, is also contributing to the growth of the barrel industry by offering a great lineup of stallions, including Feel The Sting, SR Industry Titan, Metallic Malice, and KR Fantallika.
The Lone Star Shootout will take place from January 4th to 7th, featuring various classes of races.
70 RPH will sponsor the futurity and provide $25,000 in added money.

The first division will pay fifteen places, the second division will pay eight places, and the average will pay fifteen places. In addition to cash prizes, winners will receive award saddles, jackets, saddle pads and other prizes.
The derby is sponsored by R Barrel Horses and Double XX Equine and has $7,500 in added money. This race will not have any divisions, and the top eight fastest will win cash and prizes. There will also be an average payout for the derby.
