The Horse Sale at Rancho Rio Announces 2024 Dates

The Horse Sale at Rancho Rio, presented by Tito's Handmade Vodka, is set for March 15-16. The event, held in Wickenburg, Ariz., the "Team Roping Capital of the World," is the premier invitational rope horse sale in the U.S. During the National Team Roping Finals, it will feature the top 65 rope horses, attracting buyers and consignors from across the U.S. and Canada.
Auctioneer Steve Friskup will lead the auction inside a large tent at Rancho Rio. Since its 2019 debut, the event consistently exceeds the million-dollar mark in sales. In 2021, it reached over $2.5 million and drew notable figures from the rodeo and performance horse industry.
Consignors showcase their horses at jackpots before the sale for potential buyers to observe. Prospective buyers are encouraged to contact consignors, research thoroughly, and test horses of interest.
The auction will be broadcasted on Bid.SuperiorLivestock.com, where pre-recorded videos will also be available. Online and phone bidding options will be provided.
