The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen Basketball Shoe is Out Now
This NBA season has been all about LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers forward is quickly closing in on the league's all-time scoring record. Additionally, James is celebrating two decades with Nike.
The timing of James' 20th anniversary with Nike could not have been better. The 19x NBA All-Star has worn retro models on the court and his newest signature model - the Nike LeBron 20.
During a game against the Portland Trail Blazers in January, James debuted an unreleased hoop shoe that tantalized athletes and sneakerheads. Luckily for fans, the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen is now available on Nike's website for $160 in adult sizes.

The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen is a performance basketball shoe specifically tailored to meet the demands of the modern game. Nike's design team wants athletes to stay ahead of the opposition with speed and force in all directions.
The foam midsole contains a large forefoot Zoom Air unit that is curved to bend in multiple directions. The setup provides energy return for responsiveness while maintaining a flexible court feel that moves naturally with your foot. Also, the top-loaded Zoom Air unit in the heel adds additional impact protection.
Similar to the Nike LeBron 20, this model features several nods to James' past. The multi-direction traction pattern is a map of James' hometown of Akron. Future colorways will include tributes to James' family and legendary career.
James will soon become the league's all-time leading scorer, and all eyes will be on his feet to see what arguably the greatest player of all time wears on the big night. We don't know which shoes James will wear during the game, but it is a given that Nike will have him laced up in the best shoes on the market.
