Vanessa Bryant Gives Fans Update on Upcoming Kobe Sneakers
Loyal fans of the Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant have been through a lot over the past four years. In addition to missing the basketball icon, most have been unsuccessful in purchasing his signature sneakers at retail price.
The long and winding saga surrounding Bryant's sneakers finally came to what felt like a resolution in August when Nike officially relaunched the "Kobe Brand." However, a lack of supply is still a frustrating issue. On Thursday night, Vanessa Bryant shared a series of messages on her Instagram story.
The first update was provided to her friends in professional sports. The message read, "Dear Nike Family, I just wanted to give you all a heads up that you can contact your Nike Rep and request Kobe shoes and merch you want from your allotment if interested... (Some friends are unaware they can use their allotment toward Kobe gear). Would love to see you all have the opportunity to wear or request for yourselves or family/friends."

The second message was directed to fans. "To all the fans - Always asking for more to be available... thankfully, we have more frequent drops coming soon. I was informed the Reverse drop is 3x the units its ever been before and still selling out in seconds. Hopefully, we'll get to a place where we can meet more of the demand. Mamba Forever."
While we greatly appreciate the update from the Bryant family matriarch and torchbearer of the Nike Kobe line, not many questions were answered. However, Vanessa is very aware of the sneaker community's complaints. Hopefully, we see more results as Nike is more than capable of producing as many sneakers as it wants (especially knowing they will all sell out).
