Pressing Questions Ahead of WrestleMania 40 Press Conference

Somehow, this year’s WrestleMania 40 press conference has eclipsed the value of the Royal Rumble.
Taking place later tonight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the shape of this year’s WrestleMania will take form.
Will Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson challenge Roman Reigns to a match to close out the biggest WrestleMania of all-time? And does that mean Cody Rhodes will wrestle Seth Rollins for the world heavyweight championship on the opening night of the two-night event? If that is the case, how can Rhodes justify choosing Rollins over Reigns?

If Becky Lynch and calls out Rhea Ripley, will that give away that she is winning at Elimination Chamber? And will Bayley’s babyface turn continue to shine, especially as she prepares to take on Iyo Sky and the rest of Damage CTRL?
All of these questions should be answered tonight.

But this press conference could extend beyond WrestleMania storylines.
WWE Chief Content Creator Paul “Triple H” Levesque is also expected to be made available for questions. Will he be asked about the ongoing lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon and WWE?
Although McMahon is no longer associated with the company, banished following a slew of sexual assault and trafficking allegations, the lawsuit also condemns other high-ranking WWE corporate officers who hold (or held) “high-ranking positions” post-merger with Endeavor (which led to parent company TKO Group Holdings in control of WWE).
Will any of this specific lawsuit be addressed? It led directly to the dismissal of the single most important person in WWE history–McMahon–who exited the company under pressure last Friday. Or, to avoid questions, will a statement be read ahead of the presser? No prepared statement was read when Levesque spoke following the Royal Rumble, where it looked like he was (purposely?) placed unprepared to address a very serious situation.
Tonight’s presser could go in a multitude of directions. The manner in which it unfolds will be very significant–not just for WrestleMania, but for the company as a whole.
