The Young Bucks Preparing To Retire Sting

The Bucks wrestle Sting and Darby Allin at the Revolution pay-per-view

Later tonight, Sting wrestles the final match of his wrestling career.

For one last time, Sting will team with Darby Allin. Together, they will defend the AEW tag team titles against the Young Bucks at AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view.

The Bucks’ Matt and Nick Jackson have enjoyed a tremendous career, delivering iconic matches most prominently in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and now AEW. This is the single most noteworthy match of their career, and they will wrestle it as the heels.

And, most likely, in some entirely new gear.

Ever since their heel turn, the Bucks have been wrestling in suits. That begs the question: for two men who have been wrestling in their traditional gear for over a decade, what is it like to wrestle in different gear?

“I can’t really move in a suit, which might be a good thing,” said Nick Jackson with a laugh. “I’m still working on that.”

The attire has been a significant change for both brothers.

“The one word I can use to describe wrestling in a suit is different,” said Matt Jackson. “But it’s attention-grabbing and a total 180 from how you’re used to seeing us.

“I’m super bummed Darby and Sting got all that blood on our $5,000 suits. The dry-cleaner looked at us like we were nuts. Super awkward.”

In their new gear, the Bucks will wrestle the biggest match of their career as Sting bids farewell to pro wrestling.
