Brookland volleyball voted SBLive Arkansas team of the week for Aug. 20-27

Brookland edged Fort Smith Southside’s football team

The Brookland volleyball team was voted SBLive Arkansas Team of the Week for Aug. 20-27. It was the first poll of the school year. 

The Bearcats tallied 3,852 votes (36.59%). The Fort Smith Southside football team was second with 3,643 votes (34.61%).

The defending state champions swept the Spikefest Tournament, taking wins over Jonesboro, Valley View and Baptist Prep.
