Kev Hunter is a freelance writer who covers prep football for The Courier-Post in Cherry Hill, N.J. He previously worked at The Courier-Post from 1995-98 while also writing about prep football for The Philadelphia Inquirer during that span. Hunter then worked at The Day Newspaper in New London, Conn., covering high school and college sports along with the Norwich Navigators (Yankees minor league affiliate). He wrote about the Philadelphia Eagles for Gannett News Service in 2000 and 2001 while working at The Reporter Newspaper in Lansdale, PA, where he stayed until 2023. Hunter covered various high school and college sports during that time, also writing about the Eagles until 2013. A Rutgers University-Camden graduate, he now resides in Blackwood, N.J. He began contributing to High School On SI in 2025.
