Mason Asher has been covering high school sports since he was in high school. He got his start as a junior in high school as a reporter for multiple local newspapers including the Banner Graphic, Journal Review, Tribune Star and the Reporter-Times. Once at Wabash College, he started to scout basketball and he continued working with the newspapers. He now owns Asher Scouting where he covers high school boys and girls basketball across the country year-round with a focus on the girls side. He has been covering high school sports in some capacity since 2013. He began contributing to High School On SI in 2024.
