STOCKTON, Calif. - Senior point guard Miles Byrd provided a game-high 28 points - including connecting on five 3-points - to lift host Lincoln of Stockton to a 66-62 victory over Modesto Christian on Wednesday night in a Tri-City Athletic League showdown.

STOCKTON, Calif. - Senior point guard Miles Byrd (on right in photo above) provided a game-high 28 points - including connecting on five 3-points - to lift host Lincoln of Stockton to a 66-62 victory over Modesto Christian on Wednesday night in a Tri-City Athletic League showdown.

With the victory, the Trojans (23-4 overall) moved into a first-place tie with the Crusaders (22-4) with one league game remaining.

Anthony Moore contributed 12 points for Lincoln.

Sophomore guard Jamari Phillips supplied 12 of his team-high 20 points during the fourth quarter for Modesto Christian while Manasse Itete finished with 13 and BJ Davis had 12.
