A late comeback win over St. John Bosco — thanks To Aaron McBride — gives the Huskies a record third straight Southern Section Open Section title

At last the state playoffs are here. The California Interscholastic Federation gave their seedings — SEE CIF STATE BRACKETS/SEEDINGS HERE — but here's are overall state rankings with the state championship games less than two weeks away. 

Top-ranked Corona Centennial pulled out a heart-pounding 58-56 win over upstart St. John Bosco to give the defending state Open Division champions their third straight Southern Section Open Division title. 

No other team has done that in Southern Section history. 

Section champions were crowned throughout the state, including the highest divisions at San Diego, Central, Sac-Joaquin, North Coast, Central Coast, Oakland and Northern. (Click on links for full coverage, photos and video)
